Celebrating other student achievements

On Thursday we celebrated other student achievements.  Our Year 7 students participated in the Showcase night where they presented some of their favourite pieces of work to parents/guardians and teachers, sharing what they had learnt and how they talked about the learning process.  Whilst there was some nerves at the beginning, the Year 7 students soon developed their confidence and spoke enthusiastically and with pride about their work.  At the same time in B Block our annual Year 12 Arts exhibition was opened.  It certainly highlights the talents of our Year 12 students.  The Bake-off Competition was also launched on Thursday.  Thank you to the staff and students who submitted cakes for this competition.  This is the third year of this competition and the standard and creativity of cakes continues to astound me.
