This week is also special because we say goodbye to our Year 12 graduating students. The General Assembly on Monday was very enjoyable and it was pleasing to once again see how connected our students are with the College. This assembly is an important Mooroolbark College tradition which concludes with a guard of honour being made by staff as students depart.

The second event was Celebration Day on Tuesday which started with the annual staff v student flour and water challenge on the oval at 6.30 am. This year it was raining, but to those involved it only made it more fun. This was followed by a hearty breakfast of bacon and eggs before the Year 12 students celebrated the rest of the day at Funfields in Whittlesea. I heard that the toboggan races got quite competitive between staff and students. I would like to congratulate our Year 12 students for their sense of community spirit during the past week and remind them that they are always welcome at the College. With exams starting next week, I wish our Year 12 students every success.
