In Year 7, the focus on the transition from primary to secondary school helps students adjust to the change in expectations academically and socially.

Focus teachers have increased contact with their Year 7 class, providing them with the opportunity to watch individuals settle into their new environment, gauge their social and academic abilities and provide a guiding hand where necessary.

Camps in Year 7 and 8 are designed to support the curriculum and the development stage of students. Students are encouraged through a variety of outdoor and indoor activities to develop team skills, communicate and support each other to achieve the desired outcomes.

Year 8 is a year that offers an opportunity for consolidation and personal growth. Students often start the year more confident about their place within the school environment.
