Situated with sweeping views of the Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley, Mooroolbark College not only provides its students with a view of their community - the energetic and enthusiastic staff allow students to view and achieve their potential. Mooroolbark College is a moderate size school with a student population of around 1100. The size of the College enables staff and students to work in an environment free from the management issues associated with larger schools, but allows a breadth of curriculum to meet the needs of our community.

A growing focus on student connectivity has resulted in the implementation of a "House" system across all year levels, allowing teachers and students to build stronger relationships to enhance learning. Vertical homegroups allow senior students to provide leadership and role model for younger students.

Mooroolbark College has set itself the goal of High Standards, High Expectations, Success. A professional body of teachers have developed excellent programs to challenge our students to achieve these High Standards.
Staff themselves are constantly challenged to develop new skills and explore new ways of engaging and challenging students.

  Welcome to the Mooroolbark College website. As Principal, I am very proud to lead a school that is acknowledged as a leading school in the Yarra Valley. The Mooroolbark College community has very high expectations of the students in all aspects of college life. Students are expected to make a commitment to participate fully in all programs offered at the school. The community expects students to give every effort to achieve their best both individually and as part of the many teams that operate in the College.
  Success is acknowledged and celebrated with a formal awards night at the end of the year. A Merit System operates at all levels where students are recognised for good citizenship and academic performance throughout the year. Success is celebrated and recognised on a regular basis.
