Captain profile: Rhiann Grey Yellow House Middle School Captain

What do you hope to achieve this year in your role?
This year there are many things I would like to achieve; both in terms of academic and non-academic aspects. My academic achievements are to pass my English essay on Tomorrow When the War Began by John Marsden. Also, I intend to pass every subject with grades with at least a C. My non-academic goals are to improve my drawing skills and develop my creative mind, particularly with colours.

Who is a leader that you admire and why do you admire them?
I admire my neighbour Randall Wilson because when I think of things I want to draw, I am inspired by some of his paintings on his Facebook page and his website ( www.navart.com.au). This is a great resource if you don’t know what to draw and need to get the ideas flowing.

What are some of your future goals?
My major goal is to complete Year 12 and go to University as I would like to be an Art or Maths/Science teacher (and hopefully compete my Masters as well!)

“If you are passionate about something, pursue it no matter what anyone else thinks. That’s how dreams are achieved” ( quote seen on www.mediawebapps.com)
