Eastern Region Cross Country
On Tuesday 20th June, we had 30 students compete at Yarra Glen Racecourse for the Eastern Region Cross Country. It is an incredible achievement to qualify for this stage and we were strongly represented. It was not your usual cross country conditions, as the sun was shining and little wind to deal with. A highlight of the day was our team event, they won a Bronze Medal in the 15 year old Male team. This age group had 8 students running and worked well together on the course to get each other over the line.
Congratulations to Thomas Sheridan who finished first and Thomas Hardstaff who finished second who have qualified for the State Championships which will be held at Bundoora Park on July 20th 2017.
