The College celebrated Wear it Purple Day. The day was all about celebrating LGBTIQ youth being who they are, and pictured are just some of the students who attended to show their support, whether they are a part of the LGBTIQ community or an ally.
This year, a safe space was set up in the library (with a display of ex students’ responses about being an LGBTIQ student at Mooroolbark College in the background) at lunchtime with a screening of ‘Gayby Baby’ and an in depth discussion with a panel of staff afterwards.
