VCAL is an opportunity for connecting students to the real world and their community through an integrated program. This year some of our VCAL students have been working on a friendship chair project with Edinburgh College. This very successful project was recently published in their newsletter.  Great work, well done!

“A suggestion by Year 5 student, Caitlin, to have a friendship chair in the playground area for students to sit when needing some extra care or friendship from peers, has come to fruition. Four Mooroolbark College students working on a VCAL subject were looking for a project which would benefit someone in the community. They approached Mrs Pascoe with their proposal which was excitedly agreed to. Funds were raised, materials purchased and the completed seat was installed this week. Thank you, boys.
