The Year 9 ASPIRE class travelled to Mars via the Victorian Space and Science Education Centre in Strathmore. The goal was to better understand Mars’ past, what Mars is like in the present and also what Mars could hold in the future.

The students adopted different roles to complete important geological tasks on the surface of Mars, all while receiving communications from the other students at Mission Control.

Once they returned to Earth, the students processed their findings and came to some revelatory conclusions…could Mars be their home in the future?”
