Chinese cuisine has always been an important part of the Chinese culture.

During Mandarin classes this term, the Year 8 students had the opportunity to make ??  ch?o fàn (fried rice). The purpose was to help students gain a better understanding of how environment and culture can influence food preferences. Although some students had been to a Chinese restaurant before, for many it was the first time they made ch?o fàn. Students were engaged particularly when they were eating their self-made ?? ch?o fàn.
