Year 10 People and the Planet students were busy on our field trip to the Mornington Peninsula.

We visited Rosebud, Gunnamatta, Cape Schanck and Hastings.  Students collected data on and investigated longshore drift, rips, beach safety, dune stabilisation, the effects of climate change and the importance of mangroves.  It was a great day and we all learnt so much about the coast and how we can develop future strategies to sustain and protect its unique qualities.
