SWIMMING CARNIVAL
On the 17th February, we hosted our annual swimming carnival at Croydon Memorial pool. Mother Nature was on our side with the sun shining and perfect conditions to host the event. The venue was flooded in a sea of blue, green, red and yellow. Each house was heavily represented in the events throughout the day. It was especially encouraging to see the incredible number of students in the walking lane, water polo and dance contests.
Congratulations to all swimmers who participated and were awarded vital points for their house. We witnessed outstanding results with plenty of students taking away multiple blue ribbons and booking their spot in the 2020 Mooroolbark College swimming team.
I would like to give a massive thank you to all staff who assisted with officiating, supervising and taking part in the events on the day. I look forward to our athletics and cross country carnivals later in the year.
