At Mooroolbark College, we are continuing our educational journey into the 21st Century with the integration of a Windows based notebook computer. As a result, students are a part of a structured Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program.
This program provides anytime, anywhere access to information and learning, equipping students with the skills they will need and their integration into a 24/7 global community. Our aim is to develop in students a high level of digital skills and knowledge which will enrich their lifelong learning and enhance their employment opportunities.
The BYOD program assists students to develop these skills, which greatly enhances a student’s success and engagement at school. These skills also prepare students for the world of work where technological competence is essential.
We have a series of recommended devices for your convenience that have been tested and proven for durability within a school setting. The minimum priced machine in the list provided on the portal is sufficient for all students to complete their daily tasks; however, we have sourced several models for you to choose from.
It is strongly recommended that you insure these devices as Mooroolbark College and The Department of Education and Training cannot accept any responsibility for theft, loss, damage or health effects (actual or potential) resulting from device use.
We have partnered with Edunet to offer you devices with accessories including accidental damage options. Edunet have various payment options for your consideration.
