Duke of Ed – Wheelchair Basketball adventure
Our Year 9 Duke of Ed team had an amazing Wheelchair Basketball experience last week. We were inspired by our presenter, a double amputee, who amazed us with motivational stories and messages of how to have an extremely positive attitude and be grateful for everything we have. We were then able to experience some of what life may be like in a chair and play a game of Wheelchair Basketball, which was difficult, but a lot of fun.
