In 2025 we performed the stage-adaption of the 1980’s classic, Footloose. Other recent performances have included The Wizard of Oz, High School Musical, We Will Rock You, and Grease. In the past we have also presented serious dramas, such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and The Crucible.
Following our whole-school productions, we have our end-of-year Junior Pantomime. Year 7 and Year 8 students are invited to participate in the pantomime—a lower-stakes performance—and have the opportunity to continue developing their acting and stage presence. Recent performances have included the student-written “Grinch: The Untold, Retold story” and “Cinderella (On a Budget)”.
Of course, students do not have to be singing and dancing on stage to be involved. We have positions for stagehands, sound techs, and lighting techs. In the past students have also been involved in graphic design, photography, social media management, and costuming.
Students from all year levels are invited to get involved in our shows in whatever capacity suits them. It’s a great way to develop your talents, grow in self-confidence, and make lasting friendships!
