It has been a wonderful start to the year with over 1150 students starting 2017 in such a positive manner. Our 180 new Year 7 students have also settled in well. In addition we welcome 30 new students across Years 8 to 12.

We also have 4 new staff members joining us this year. Student Achievement

Our Mooroolbark College students have undertaken some amazing opportunities over the recent holidays. I would like to congratulate the following students on their achievements and community involvement: ? Iris Kennedy spent a week with Melbourne Youth Music which culminated with a performance at the Melbourne Town Hall. ? River Stevens-Dobby – Competed in Sydney for 11 days in the National Baseball under 16s competition for Victoria. Congratulations on your team coming third. ? Ben Donald Wilson and Alex Rousseaux attended a week long Computer Coding camp ran by Sydney University in NSW. This would have been an amazing experience. During 2017, Mooroolbark College will be undertaking its 4 year review and setting its strategic plan for 2018 – 2021. This is an exciting time for the College. Throughout the year, we will be asking for feedback from both our parent and student population and I encourage you to engage in this opportunity to shape the future of Mooroolbark College.
