The past three weeks have been very busy for the Pathways staff and for students in Year 8 through to Year 12. On Tuesday 1st August our students had the opportunity to attend the Maroondah Career Expo that was held at Box Hill TAFE Lilydale Lakeside campus. From our observations, Mooroolbark College was well represented in student and parent attendance.
On Tuesday 8th August, all Year 12 students attended the Tertiary Information Session at Box Hill Lilydale Lakeside. The students were informed about their opportunities to apply for various tertiary courses and were able to speak with representatives from Universities, TAFE institutions and various private providers.
The last 2 weeks have seen students from Year 8 to 11 take part in course counselling sessions and put in their subject preferences for 2018 via our online program. This process is quite involved and we always try to ensure that the majority of students are satisfied with the final result at course confirmation which will take place towards the end of Term 4.
