On Tuesday 20th March, Tracey Lackman and Nicola Johnson-Clark were brave enough to shave their heads. They have been raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation World’s Greatest Shave since early February. Together they have raised over $4000! This provides items such as free transport for people who are too ill to drive after chemotherapy treatment, or to give a regional family a free place to stay close to treatment in the city for one week.

It was great to see participants cheered on during the shave, donations of spare change given on the day and donations online in the lead up to the shave. Money collected from student’s buying clear piercings and money raised on the Year 10 Central Camp to shave a Mohawk in Miss Lackman’s hair were also added to the donations.

Further donations are still welcome for both participants as they continue to support such a great cause.
